Dogs love people more than we can imagine. They’re so loyal and loyal that people who betray them always don’t understand what happened, even if the situation is crystal clear.
This is exactly what happened to Carla, the abandoned dog in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The dog had been waiting for its owner two days in a row when locals became concerned about them and contacted Janine Guido, an experienced rescuer and founder of a local animal rescue service. For another 3 days, Guido tried to save Carla. The dog even kissed some of the food on her hand, but whenever she tried to put her on a leash, it always ran away. The dog disappeared for a couple of days, after a while appeared on someone else’s porch, always refusing to help people.
One day Janine was on Facebook giving live updates about the rescue and suddenly she found Carla in the back seat of her car. Maybe she got tired of waiting, realized she needed help and decided to trust the woman who had been trying to save her for days. Janine immediately took Carla to the vet where they discovered she didn’t have a tiny chip and weighed between 15 and 20 pounds.
