  • Basement
    Windows
    Leaky roofs

The first thing you will notice is the bad and musty odor, and then look for water stains on the walls, white and black spots, discolored carpets, or bowed floorborards, as Dr. Mercola explained.

Types of Mold

Mold commonly grows in areas that are exposed to water damage. And Dr. Mercola lists the most common types of mold that can grow indoor:

1. Stachybotrys

It’s hazardous and harmful. Dark form discharges mycotoxins and may prompt genuine breathing troubles and seeping in lungs. It’s not by any stretch of the imagination regular in homes, yet may develop on wood and paper. It doesn’t develop on solid tile or tile.

2.Penicillium

It’s found on backdrop, textures, floor covering and fiber glass pipe protection. Penicillium causes sensitivities and asthma. A few animal groups discharge mycotoxins, and penicillin is the most widely recognized.

3. Cladosporium

Develops on material, wood and different permeable materials presented to dampness. It causes roughage fever and asthma-like indications.

4. Aspergillus

It grows in damp and warm climate, and it is considered to be a common occupant of house dust. Aspergillus is releasing mycotoxins, and it is triggering the development of lung infections

5. Alternaria
