Our gums recede as the gums that cover our teeth start to disintegrate. In most cases, this exposes the tooth’s root, which is exceedingly painful. Gum recession can manifest in a variety of ways:

  • Teeth enlargement is a possibility.
  • You may get toothaches or other discomforts.

Gum disease, poor oral hygiene, overzealous brushing, smoking, hormone imbalance, and even genetics can all contribute to receding gums. What can we do to help the gums to re-grow?

Good Personal Hygiene

Brush your teeth gently, not aggressively, and practice proper hygiene. Use circular motions and a brush with soft bristles to get the best results. In addition to brushing after each meal, floss daily.

Use Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera has been shown to have numerous health benefits. Using a small amount of this gel in your mouth as a mouthwash can help stimulate the growth of new gum tissue by reducing swelling and activating cells. Put some Aloe Vera gel in your mouth after brushing and flossing your teeth. For at least five minutes, gently brush your teeth and gums, then thoroughly rinse your mouth.

Oil Pulling

This is renowned for its ability to cure cavities and its anti-inflammatory effects. Sesame oil can help protect your teeth from plaque by forming a protective coating on top of them. Swish a little oil in your mouth after it’s warmed up. Begin by doing this for one minute, then gradually increase the time you spend doing it.

Use Green Tea

Drinking one cup of green tea a day will help fight free radicals, which can lead to gum disease.

Junk food does nothing but encourages the growth of bacteria in your mouth. Reduce your sugar intake by eating more vegetables and less sugar. Experiencing receding gums is upsetting, and one should not have to deal with it. Please put these treatments into action and improve your health a bit. Attempting has no downside.
