It’s no secret that Donald Trump and Swedish climate warrior Greta Thunberg aren’t exactly chumming it up.
After Greta got booted from Israel along with over a hundred other activists on Monday, Trump didn’t hold back, calling her a “troublemaker” and suggesting she’s got some “anger management issues.” But Greta wasn’t about to let that slide—she fired back just hours later with a zinger that hit hard.

The 22-year-old Swede was picked up and eventually deported by Israeli authorities after joining the Global Sumud Flotilla to Gaza. It was this big convoy of boats trying to push through the blockade and get aid in. She touched down in Athens, Greece, on Tuesday, where she gave a fiery speech to a crowd of pumped-up supporters at the airport.
Of course, it didn’t take long for Trump to weigh in on Greta’s latest adventure. These two have a history of trading barbs, and this round was no exception. The US President labeled her a straight-up “troublemaker,” saying it’s wild how “angry” she seems for someone so young. He even threw in that she should “see a doctor” for her supposed anger problems.
“She’s just a troublemaker… she’s not even focused on the environment anymore. She’s a troublemaker with an anger management problem. I think she needs to see a doctor… Have you seen her? She’s young, but so angry, so out there… Just a troublemaker,” Trump ranted.

Greta Thunberg Fires Back at Trump Over His “Anger Management” Slam
By Tuesday, a flight full of activists headed back to Sweden lifted off from Athens. We’re not sure yet if Greta was on board.
But one thing’s for sure—she wasn’t staying quiet about Trump’s trash talk. She hopped on Instagram and delivered a razor-sharp reply to the prez.
“I caught wind that Donald Trump is once again sharing his oh-so-flattering takes on my personality, and I’m touched by his worry about my mental well-being,” Greta posted.
“To Trump: I’d love any tips you’ve got for handling these alleged ‘anger management problems’—because, looking at your stellar history, it seems like you’re dealing with the same stuff yourself.”
