Two college students from the United States who wanted their own place to relax in their shared bedroom bought an old couch from a website for just $20.
Although the furniture was dirty and smelly, and the fittings were in good condition and not worn out, the two students were happy with the deal.
The girls cleaned it and then covered it.
One evening while watching the film, the young woman felt something strange under the sofa. When they removed the covers, they were shocked.
Several envelopes of cash were hidden, their total value was $40,000! Fortunately, one of the envelopes had a phone number on it, so the young woman called to return the money.
The old lady from whom I bought the sofa was very grateful to them. “These are the savings my husband has made all his life. Unfortunately, he died, and I was hospitalized for a while. My children sold the sofa without asking me, ” said the old woman.
